A few years past the half-century mark, divorced in 2006, with twin sons who are 31. Have spent most of my life as an outsider due to a sense of humor that makes people uneasy and a general refusal to adhere to the tenants of my age and gender. I'm interested in what I want to be interested in, and don't particularly give a damn if it's something a 55-year-old woman shouldn't be interested in.

I've been writing since I was 11, but didn't really get into fanfic till I got online. I've written in Various fandoms over the years, the most recent being Torchwood. I've recently gotten back into Dr. Who (which I've been watching since I was in my early teens). I tend more towards Classic Who (Two, Five and Seven are my favorites), though I do like 9 and 11.

I'm a slasher, and have been from the very beginning. I can't write a believable het scene to save my soul, despite having been married 25+ years.
